Bridal Veil Falls, Yosemite

This quilt was inspired by a glorious trip that my family took to Yosemite the summer of 2003. This magnificent glittering waterfall seduced my sons, one of which immediately took off on his way to the top and the other could only pause briefly in a conquering pose!
This piece was shown at the "Power of Excellence" show at SECCA in Winston- Salem, NC in winter 2004. In 2009 it went to Carlsbad CA for the Fiber Artists Collective show at the Front Porch Gallery
