The Official Travel Guide to North Carolina 2009 was published on Dec. 1 2008, but I just learned that I was featured in the "Heart for Arts" section on page 23. You can find the travel guide in most hotels and rest stops--even outside of NC. I also found it by googling, but couldn't get the link to work here.

Empyrean was accepted from 500 entries for the 10th Quilt Nihon Exhibition and is being shown at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in Tokyo Japan this month
Empyrean won an Honorable Mention and will travel with the other award winning pieces all over the world until Fall 2011
